Amelia joined the team at Burke & Associates Lawyers in February 2019 and was admitted to practice as a lawyer in February 2015 after completing her legal traineeship in regional Victoria. She practices in the areas of Wills and Estates, Estate Litigation, Litigation (including Alternative Dispute Resolution) and Commercial Law.
Amelia is passionate about providing her clients with comprehensive legal advice and strategies to ensure their future needs and wishes are protected. She also enjoys problem solving and a great deal of her experience has involved acting in Estate Litigation and Contested Will matters where she has acted for Claimants as well as Estate Legal Representatives and Beneficiary Defendants.
Amelia has experience running litigation matters in our Tribunals and Courts including VCAT, the Magistrates’ Court, County Court and Supreme Court.
Outside of the law Amelia enjoys travelling, water-skiing in summer, spending time with her family and friends and reading.
